Well, I’m not quite sure.
But we did.
And they are now legally ours.
(Our agency coordinator may have lost hearing in one ear after my response to the news she delivered to me at 11:30am today.)
More details later … no time for blogging, too much to celebrate.
We are undone by His faithfulness.
He who promised is faithful.

Hi Nate & Sara,
I work for a client of Nate’s and I’ve been following your website for quite some time now … at least since October 2008 when we met Nate at the Boot Camp in Kansas City.
I just have to tell you both how THRILLED I am for you! I get chills every time I read your posts (you are an AMAZING writer Sara!) and I feel as tho I know you personally and am on this journey right along with you
I find myself thinking of you and praying for you so often, almost subconciously sometimes. I can’t imagine what you’ve gone thru and what anticipation must be in your lives and hearts.
You have such tremendous faith and love and devotion and THAT is how you pass court 3 days before it’s even supposed to be!
I can’t wait to see pictures of YOUR precious children and continue to follow as you make the transition from a couple to a family! You’re in for ALOT of fun (we have a 3 year old little guy and not a day passes as dull … it’s all so new still!)
Congratulations again and thank you for allowing everyone to be such a part of your lives and this fantastic journey!
GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!

Looks like Eden, Caleb, and Payton will get in several play dates this summer!!!!!! Sending up HUGE praise for God’s faithfulness! Amen. I am so excited. Oh, Sara, I cannot stop my heart from beating so fast. I remeber spinning in circles when we got our call. Did you spin in circles? DId you even know what to do with yourself? Isn’t it the best feeling in the WORLD! Oh, yes, this deserves an Ethiopian enjera celebration! Wes and I need to treat you and Nate to dinner at the Ethiopian resturaunt in town. I have just got to chat with you soon…. I have soooo many things to tell you! Call me when you have a chance to break from your celebrating for about 5 minutes or so….
sara and nate
sooo happy for you– that is awsome!
when do you leave?
We will be praying for all the details to be worked out for Eden and Caleb and for you—
Awesome news. Congratulations!
tears. so happy for you! How does it feel to be Mom and Dad?
He does more than all we can ask or imagine! Thrilled for you all! Corban told me as soon as he walked in the door. At first I thought he was mistaken. I insisted that your court date was the 12th. He finally convinced me of this MIRACLE! How weak is my faith! God has honored your faithfulness!
Congratulations! My heart is bursting with excitement for your family- they are YOURS and they are coming home soon! I will be praying for these final days of waiting. By the way, wasn’t your ORIGINAL court date today- the 9th? God truly is faithful- it was meant to be today.
CONGRATULATIONS!!! The Hagerty Family: Sara, Nate, Eden & Caleb….. I LOVE IT! Can’t wait to meet them. xoxox
Just so excited for you:-) I have loved hearing your pregnancy parallels and so your phone call today reminds me of the moment during my labor with #2 when, after 30 hours of contractions at home (which does not in any way even begin to compare to all that you’ve endured and labored through with such grace), I got the call back from my OB saying that it was okay to “come on in to the hospital” to have that baby.
Keep breathing mama Sara it’s almost time to push!!
SO speechlessly excited for you guys. Bless God…
I have chills. You know, Carter told me yesterday “Ms Sara has her babies”… wonder how he knew that?
congratulations Mommy and Daddy! I CAN’T wait to meet your children and to get to watch you as parents! We’ll be praying for these final steps of bringing your family together to go smoothly.
