We have our official embassy appointment tomorrow (tonight for those in the U.S.) at 1pm here. Would love your prayers for this as it is the last step before we bring them home (and have the honor of being indoctrinated into parenthood by a 17 hour flight).
There should be no hitches …we’ve heard all the kinks have been worked out. But we’re still pretty aware of the battle for these children’s lives — so would love your prayers.
Sadly our camera broke
The pictures in the post below are the last we got before it died. Thanks to all the families here we’ll hopefully be able to fill in the gaps of our trip …

We’ll be praying for the embassy appt and the flight- we’ve done 15-16 hour flights from Japan and just remember, NO MATTER HOW BAD IT FEELS AT ANY MOMENT, it’ll ALL BE OVER in 17 hours (or 15 or 12 or 6 at that point…). That’s just part of one day and you guys can handle ANYTHING for part of one day. That helped us the several times we did that flight! BEST WISHES!
I will be praying…..thank you for posting the photos. What sweetness. Bless you all!
The embassy is a breeze – you are so close to being home. Hang in there and think survival until you are on home turf.
(oops hit enter too soon)
What an amazing day for the Hagerty Family! Wait until you see theri passports – they are too cute!!!
Can you believe you are going to the Embassy?!?! CRAZY!!! We could not be more excited and happy for you guys!!! Praying for your safe trip home!
Happy July 15 Hagerty family!!! This date is burned in my mind as I’ve been praying for months now that your embassy appointment would be today … and it was. I’m celebrating from afar all that God has done and continuing to pray. Love you guys!
